Vinyl Tiles v. Quartz Tiles: What’s Right for You?

Here at Rikett, we understand that different rooms call for different flooring. These needs can vary from a simple color choice down to the material used. We offer two main products: vinyl tiles and quartz tiles. Which tile you choose heavily depends on the intended use because each one has different properties. Read on to decide which flooring is best for you.

Vinyl Tiles

Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) is traditionally reserved for residential or commercial use. This is due to their natural design, low maintenance and ability to withstand regular wear and tear. Our wood patterns are perfect if you want the classic look of hardwood floors without the tedious maintenance. For commercial settings, we offer classic wood or stone designs and more abstract styles. They’re easy maintenance makes them perfect for schools, hospitals, and other areas that have a lot of traffic. We offer glue down tiles, as well as planks that are both glue down and click – which means they click into place!

Quartz Tiles

Our quartz tiles are made from quartz (of course) and are even more durable than vinyl tiles. They exceed standards for industrial and commercial spaces, so they are slip-resistant, and can handle the heavy weight of machinery or other massive structures that you wouldn’t find in a residential setting. We offer a variety of neutral color designs, with a broad range of accent colors, so you’re sure to find a style that matches your space. Quartz tiles are ideal in all commercial areas listed above, as well as warehouses, transportation facilities and more industrial settings.

Here at Rikett, we’re dedicated to providing a high-quality product to each of our customers, whether they are industrial, commercial, or residential. For more information about which product is right for you, call 855-Rikett-7.
