Rikett™ Quartz Tile (RQT) is the smart choice for schools.
Rikett’s mission as a flooring manufacturer is to offer the best quality products at the most competitive prices so it can deliver flooring to its clients with the perfect balance of value, design and performance in a pleasing customer experience that will last a long time.
In 1952, Rieber & Sons and Tarkett founded Rikett in Bergen, Norway to manufacture Rikett Quartz Tile, (RQT). During the 1950’s, an early environmental vision enabled Rikett to eliminate the harmful chemical asbestos in homogeneous flooring and replace it with Quartz, an abundant natural mineral. Rikett Quartz Tile was, and still is, vastly superior in strength and performance to all other commercial composition floor tiles and sheets. Since then, Rikett has successfully manufactured and sold more than 2 Billion square feet of quartz flooring worldwide as an alternative to VCT, LVT, linoleum, epoxy and other synthetic flooring.
Rikett Quartz Tile has a proven track record in school applications. Especially in dormitories, student centers, corridors, classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, libraries, office and loading docks.
RIKETT QUARTZ TILE - CONSTRUCTION
How it’s made:
A. RQT is manufactured with 70% natural quartz minerals, which make it a very hard, durable and dimensionally stable tile that will not break or tear like other floor tiles.
B. Large format tiles sized offer a premium visual and design flexibility. Larger tiles install faster and have less seams. Designers love the vibrant colors and coordinated solid and chip pattern product lines.
C. RQT can be used in heavy commercial and industrial applications. It has up to 3,500 PSI. Its excellent dimensional stability resists shrinkage, reducing seam gaps where bacteria might hide. RQT does not promote the growth of infectious organisms.
D. Rikettseal ™ enhanced, commercial grade UV cured polyurethane coating provides for a durable, low-cost, no wax, easy maintenance flooring surface. Can be recoated, if needed.
E. Rikett offers a 1-year product defects and a limited 20-Year wear-through warranty.
